For 30 years, the Bren School has grown and evolved at UC Santa Barbara. Thousands of people — students, faculty, and staff, donors, group project clients, and other stakeholders — have made the Bren School a part of their lives, and each one has left a mark. On Give Day 2026, we recognize the immeasurable impact of one individual in particular, Dave Parker, esteemed Executive Director of the Bren School’s Career Development and Alumni Relations. Since he stepped in to teach workshops for the first graduating class in 1998, Dave has instilled in students the value of leading with intention, showing up with confidence, and standing out from the rest, which is a hallmark of Bren graduates.
Give Day is an opportunity for the Bren Community to come together to honor Dave and help ensure his legacy continues long after his retirement in July 2026.
