The Education Abroad Program (EAP) and Capital Internship Program (CIP) are UC Santa Barbara’s pipelines to global and civic leadership. Whether studying in one of 40+ countries or interning in Washington, D.C. and Sacramento, our students gain a transformative perspective that shapes their careers and lives forever. This experiential learning is more than a classroom extension—it is a profound exploration of identity, culture, and professional ambition in entirely new settings.
Support from alumni, friends, and parents like you makes these dreams a reality. Sadly, each year, some students are accepted into these programs and then have to withdraw due to financial need.
